Kim Kardashian Discusses Bruce Jenner’s Transition

Kim has thrown her full support behind Bruce since the news hit during his interview with Diane Sawyer. She initially posted to instagram some photographs with Bruce, writing:

“Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter. It might not always be easy but we support you no matter what! Your honesty has opened the doors for others to be courageous and live an authentic life! #respect #hero #family.”

She has said in a new interview that she feels glad that Bruce is now able to live the life he’s always wanted. She believes Bruce has found some peace by going public:

“I’m really happy for him that he is living his life the way he wants to live it. And that he has found inner peace and just pure happiness. That’s what life is about. I don’t know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren’t yourself. As long as he is happy, and he wants to live his life, however he wants to live it, that just makes me happy. And I support him 100 percent.”

Kim says she is happy to have such a large family because they’re all able to support each other no matter what they’re going through and it’s helpful:

“I love having so many siblings and such a supportive mom because, you know, each family member might be dealing with this in a different way. But we have each other to go through this experience with. And I’m really grateful for that.”

She adds that Bruce has been able to clearly explain what’s happening:

“Bruce has always been really, really good at explaining everything to us. And these have been newer feelings — not newer feelings for him, but for us to digest… He’s done a really good job at walking us through it.”
