Kate Upton And Justin Verlander Rekindle Romance? Pair Spotted At Hockey Game In Philadelphia

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander may have split last year, but the pair have now been spotted together at a hockey game, fuelling rumours that they’ve managed to rekindle their romance.

Photographs of Kate and the Detroit Tigers pitcher surfaced on Twitter, with fans immediately suggesting that they may be back together when they were spotted watching the Philadelphia Flyers vs. Tampa Bay Lightning at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia on Saturday.

One Twitter user posted: “Kate Upton and Justin Verlander at the flyers game in the box seats next to ours.” (sic)

The pair were first surrounded by dating rumours were they were spotted enjoying a Caribbean holiday together in January last year.

EntertainmentWise have contacted a rep for further comments.

This all comes after the Sports Illustrated model had been rumoured to have split from ex beau Maksim Chmerkovskiy last month.

The pair were allegedly dating for six months before they called time on their romance, with reports saying that they had trouble keeping their relationship going because of their hectic schedules.

“They are really good friends still and speak all the time, but their schedules just made it too difficult and it fell apart,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “[Chmerkovskiy] has a lot of respect for her, but it just wasn’t working anymore.”

The publication reported that the pair first got together in June, before they were then spotted holding hands in NYC’s West Village on September 26.

Maksim spoke out about Kate a month later as he attended the opening of his brother Val’s Valentin Clothing At Philippe in Beverly Hills.

“She’s an amazing person,” the dancer told Us Weekly at the bash, adding: “We have an incredible time together, and, you know, I definitely didn’t see that coming and I think neither did she.

“We enjoy each other’s company very much and like I said, she’s a great girl that I never thought anything romantic like this could have happened.”
