Kate Middleton ‘Pulls Out Of High Society Wedding’ Amid ‘Fears’ She Could Go Into Early Labour?

Kate Middleton has reportedly decided to not attend the high society wedding of Thomas Van Straubenzee and the Duke of Northumberland’s daughter Lady Melissa Percy tomorrow, as there are concerns the Duchess of Cambridge could give birth weeks before her due date in mid July.

Kate and her husband Prince William, who turns 31 today, (June 21) were expected to be guests of honour at the well-to-do affair, but Kate and her aides have decided to take no chances with the wedding taking place at Alnick Castle, Northumberland.

A close source to the Royal couple told The Sun: “The birth may be a few weeks off, but there is still a very slim risk she could go into labour.”

The insider added: “Kate is gutted – as are Tom and Melissa – but she decided not to take any chances.”

Although the expectant mother will be no longer attending the nuptials, her husband, Prince William will still be attending as he will be best man on the day.

The Duke of Cambridge will still have company as his younger brother Prince Harry, 28 and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas, 24, will be attending the ceremony.

However, we guess that Harry will not be wanting to bump into ex-girlfriend Chelsea Davy as she will also be in attendance.

The Princes are good friends of the groom, Thomas Van Straubenzee and both William and Harry attended the chartered surveyor’s stag party in London earlier this month.
