Kate Middleton, Duchess Of Cambridge And Prince William ‘To Host Bon Jovi Housewarming Gig’
Most housewarmings involve a few beers sat on the floor of a furntiure-less flat, but Kate Middleton and Prince William are reportedly planning to celebrate their big London move in style. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to be hosting a Bon Jovi gig at the their new Kensington Palace digs.
The royal couple reportedly moved into their lavish 20 room apartment this week, with their 11-week-old son Prince George.
After leaving their beloved Anglesey cottage last month the Duke and Duchess are said to be keen to mark their big move back to the capital and they’re pulling out all the stops with a charity bash.
According to a report in Hello! magazine the couple are planning to host a party in aid of homeless charity Centrepoint. The new royal residence will be the venue for the “once-in-a-lifetime” bash, which will take place on November 26.

The party will reportedly be held in the palace’s State Apartments with a champagne reception in the King’s Gallery ballroom and a posh dinner hosted by the couple, before the revelry moves outside to the gardens and a huge marquee which will see Bon Jovi perform.
Guests will splash out a hefty £5,000 a ticket for the huge party according to the report, with a source telling the magazine “This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime event that cannot be missed. Kensington Palace will be decorated as never before, in the style of Doctor Zhivago’s winter ice palace, covered in falling snow.”

Whether these reports of a wild party are true or not, we do know that Wills is a big fan of the US rock group. The prince crooned along to their monster hit ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ during a karaoke session at the wedding of his cousin Zara Phillips to Mike Tindall two years ago.
A source said at the time: “William really let his hair down – he was the life and soul of the party. He had the personality to carry it off. Kate stood a few yards away grinning, cheering, and clapping along.”
