Kanye West, Wyclef Jean And R. Kelly Collaborator Cassius Auditions For The Voice UK

You might not have heard of Cassius Henry, but you certainly will recognise the names of Kanye West, Wyclef Jean And R. Kelly, who are just a few of the artists that collaborated with Cassius on his debut album in 2005.

Pretty boy Cassius failed to set the charts alight with his music and achieve mainstream success, but he will soon be seen giving fame another shot as he takes part in the blind auditions for The Voice UK coaches this Saturday.

The talented singer once had a record deal with Universal Records and previously opened concerts for big name artists such as Kanye West, R. Kelly, Faith Evans and Angie Stone.

In 2001 his first single ‘Broke’ got into the UK top 30 and Cassius seemed to be on the brink of hitting the big time, but this was all changed after a devastating personal tragedy.

Cassius’ little brother passed away from heart failure, and the distressed young star stepped away from the spotlight to take time to grieve.

But now he’s back and is ready to pick up from where he left off – we can’t wait to see his blind audition for The Voice UK coaches Jessie J, will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue.
