Kanye West Calls Himself “the No. 1 Living and Breathing Rock Star”

Kanye West’s ego has become insanely giant lately and like any ego maniac, he has once again spoken on his favourite subject matter: him, how great he is, and how he compares to other geniuses like himself. Kanye speaks about one fashion designer asking him to his show at Paris Fashion Week, but only on the condition that Kanye would snub all of the other shows and make it an exclusive appearance. The mere idea of having to ditch the other amazing shows made him very, very upset. He commented:

“It’s like, ‘Yo! Nobody can tell me where I can and can’t go. Man, I’m the No. 1 living and breathing rock star. I am Axl Rose; I am Jim Morrison; I am Jimi Hendrix.’

No you’re Kanye West. He really does have a thing about names, doesn’t he – he did name his kid ‘North’ I guess. Anyway, he continued his rant, stating that the designer who tried to make him only attend their show was doing the world a huge injustice obviously:

“You can’t say that you love music and then say that Kanye West can’t come to your show! To even think they could tell me where I could and couldn’t go is just ludicrous. It’s blasphemous – to rock ‘n’ roll, and to music. (I was) just very hurt… How can someone stop my opportunity to see something that he can teach me, that I can help teach the world?”

Kanye West is so out of touch with reality, his behaviour could only be described as that of a diva. If you have to tell the world how great you are, chances are, you aren’t so great after all. Let your work speak for you Kanye, and shut your mouth until you’ve got some good rhymes.
