Justin Bieber’s Twitter Followers Top The Population Of Canada
Justin Bieber continues in his bid for world domination with the news today that the star’s twitter followers equal more than the entire population of Canada!
According to estimates, the Biebs’ following on the social networking site has topped population estimates for his home country, amazing!
At last count the star’s twitter followers were at 35,073,181 in total, whilst an unofficial report by Statistics Canada released in October 2012, puts the the country’s estimated population at 35,002,400.
It’s not the first record the singer has broken on twitter, back in January he became the most followed person in the entire world after speeding past Lady Gaga’s follower count.
It’s not just twitter record that has got tongues wagging this week, the star is reported to be romancing Brit teen Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke after she was spotted hanging out with the stud in London, and according to insiders the pair have known each other for nearly six months after first meeting in Los Angeles last year, when Justin was still with ex Selena Gomez!
The 17 year-old has been quick to deny the romance on Twitter after it was claimed they were an item, despite being spotted hanging out with Bieber at Justin Timberlake’s gig in London last week and again last night at celeb haunt DSTRKT where she was reportedly spotted partying with the ‘Boyfriend’ star before heading back to his hotel, the Mirror reports.
But this isn’t a whirlwind friendship, the couple, have known each other since last September, when Justin was still with former girlfriend Selena Gomez. “She was introduced to Justin by a mutual friend,” a source told the paper, “She is always going to LA and mixes with lots of people in the industry, which is where she met Justin. Ella knows she will be the envy of millions of girls, but it is early days and she is just enjoying herself and having some fun.”
We’re betting Ella is one of Justin’s 25,073,181 twitter followers…
