Manager Scooter Braun posted the news earlier today that his young cash cow has soared up iTunes charts across the world, tweeting: “?@justinbieber #heartbreaker is #1 in 52 countries and counting. #MusicMondays”
Even for Justin’s standard’s that’s pretty awesome going! Justin described the track as “a song for people going through heartbreak—like I was when I wrote it,” prompting speculation the track is in fact an ode to his former flame Selena Gomez who he famously dated until their infamous split following allegations of his cheating earlier this year.
In a bid to cheer up Monday mornings, the Biebs has confirmed he will be releasing a brand new track from his upcoming album every Monday for the next 10 weeks as part of his new Music Mondays promotion.
Meanwhile, Justin has allegedly reached out to Miley Cyrus, who also recently went through a split from Hunger Games hunk Liam Hemsworth.
A source told Heat magazine, ”Justin reached out to say that she needs to loosen up and have fun.
“They’re bonding over their career backlashes and talking almost every night.”
The Wrecking Ball singer, who hit the headlines for her controversial performance with Robin Thicke at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, is set to work on a duet with the Canadian popstar.
The insider added, ”They’re even considering an outrageous duet.”
