Justin Bieber Valentine’s Day Court Date: Star To Skip Appearance Following DUI Charges
Justin Bieber’s DUI case maybe heard in court today in Miami following his arrest in January, but the Boyfriend singer won’t be attending the Valentine’s Day hearing according to new reports.
The 19 year-old was placed under arrest and charged with three separate offenses after his rented Lamborghini was pulled over following a night of partying. The Canadian star is facing charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license.
His case will be heard today by Judge William Alfield, where prosecutors will formally file charges and a plea will be entered. Bieber is, according to Hello magazine, not physically required to be present at the arraignment and it’s believed his lawyers will submit his plea in writing.
It is the same judge that Bieber appeared in front of when his £1,500 bail was set following his arrest and incarceration at the Miami-Dade County jail where he was booked and spent several hours in a cell. Looks like the star has managed to get out of a pretty awful Valentine’s Day.
While the star might have been linked to several ladies in recent weeks, including Miami model Chantel Jeffries who was with Bieber when he was arrested, he posted pictures of himself alone in the studio late on Thursday night.
There had been previous reports that he may spend the romantic day with former flame Selena Gomez, but the singer appeared to have only music on his mind last night.
