Jessica Alba Called 911 When Her Daughter Ate a Diaper

Jessica Alba has opened up on a moment of panic which took place after her daughter’s diaper burst. Some of the diaper’s contents ended up in her daughter’s mouth and Jessica was so worried that she “freaked out” and called several people in one go, including 911. Jessica recalled the terrifying incident:

”My kid’s diaper exploded. All of a sudden, these beads were in her mouth. And I was calling my mom, and I was like, ‘What happened? What do I do? What is this made out of?’ I called my pediatrician. I called 911. I completely freaked out.”

Jessica was inspired by the scary event to start The Honest Company, which creates natural products that are safe and healthy for children to use after she was frightened by the potential ingredients of the items she was using on her two daughters. Jessica adds that although she was a control freak before becoming a parent, she has learned that she has to relax because she can’t have control over everything:

 ”I was much more of a control freak before [becoming a parent], probably. You kind of have to roll with the punches and be a little more easygoing with parenthood. I was like, ‘I’ll never have toys in my living room!’ Yeah, right.”
