Jennifer Aniston Snags A Glenn Ligon Painting For $450,000 At Auction
During an Artists For Haiti auction, which was co-organized by Ben Stiller, Jennifer Aniston bid a whopping $450,000 on American artist Glenn Ligon’s Stranger #44 and won thanks to her boyfriend Justin Theroux. The painting is a 2011 abstract work of oil, charcoal, and graphite on a canvas and was estimated to be worth $150,000 – $200,000.
After Theroux won the acutal bidding war Aniston was all kinds of excited clapping her hands. The two joined Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor when the auction ended for dinner at Il Cantinori where the couples were seen having a lot of fun and Stiller picked up the bill.
Stiller has a history working with Aniston and Theroux he starred in Along Came Polly with Aniston and co-wrote Tropic Thunder with Theroux. So it was a big happy reunion for everyone, congrats to Aniston on nabbing her painting!
