‘I’m A Practical Vegan!’ Carrie Underwood Shows Off Her Amazing Body In Tiny Gold Hot Pants
Carrie Underwood has opened up about her healthy lifestyle, as she shows off the results of her vegan diet in a stunning cover shoot.
The country star poses in a pair of tiny hotpants for the latest edition of Women’s Health magazine, pairing the sparkly shorts with a revealing black vest top and a mane of blonde curls.
Carrie’s enviable body is all thanks to her love of keeping healthy, but the 30-year-old readily admits to the magazine that she does allow herself to cheat on her vegan diet:
“I am a vegan but I consider myself to be a practical vegan,” she confessed. “If I order something on a menu and it has a sprinkling of cheese on top I’m not going to send it back.”
She adds that sticking to her diet can be tricky when she’s on the road or travelling with her husband Mike Fisher:
“I’ve been vegetarian – no fish no chicken no meat vegetarian – for about a decade now. The vegan thing is something I try to do my best on because it’s a cheesy world out there. We recently went to Italy and they put cheese in, on and around everything! So I kind of had to be vegetarian when I was on vacation, and now that I’ve been back home I’ve been getting back into my vegan lifestyle.”

Carrie has been throwing herself into her next project, NBC’s ambitious live broadcast of hit musical The Sound of Music, with the three hour extravaganza airing in the States in December.
Carrie will play the lead of Maria whilst True Blood hotty Stephen Moyer stars opposite her as Captain Von Trapp. Carrie admits the rehearsals have been tough going as the musical’s beloved songs are not what she’s used to crooning:
“I’ve been in New York quite a bit doing run-through’s and working on a kind of music that’s not exactly the kind of music that I’m use to singing. So it’s been a lot of work and it’s been really challenging. But I think in the end it’s really going to be very rewarding. It’s going to be exciting to actually do a musical live on TV.”
