‘I’ll Never Be Devastated Again’: Adele Gushes Over Boyfriend After Golden Globe Win
It may have earned her millions but Adele says she is ready to turn her back on recording heartbreak songs, claiming she will never be “devastated” again, hinting at the state of her relationship with boyfriend Simon Konecki.
The ‘Rolling In The Deep’ singer won a Golden Globe on Sunday for her James Bond ballad ‘Skyfall’ and was turned into one of the world’s biggest stars last year following the release of her second album, 21, which was based on the fallout of a previous failed relationship, touching the hearts of millions around the world with her sad story.

However, Adele is in a happier place now following the birth of her son and relationship with Simon Konecki, whom she has been dating for almost two years.
Speaking at a press conference after her Golden Globe win, Adele told reporters that she will no longer be using heartbreak as inspiration for her new material. That’s too bad for us, because she is listed on our top songs about heartbreak a lot.
“I feel a little bit kind of overexcited. It’s my first night out since I had my child. And my inspiration normally comes from heartbreak, but I don’t think I am going to have to get devastated again, so that’s good,” Parade magazine reports.
Speaking about her win at the ceremony this weekend, Adele added: “It’s absolutely amazing and quite a thrill and quite hilarious because it is not my field.”
“Although it is mind-boggling to win Grammys, but many amazing actors have these awards so it is very weird, but incredible.”
“My first Bond film that I watched was actually a Pierce Brosnan Bond because I am only 24 so I don’t go back to the classics,” Adele continued.
“It was the one where he was on the speedboat on the Thames. And then Daniel Craig, who is so edgy and he turned the vibe around.”
