Ian Somerhalder ‘Mentally Undresses’ Woman On Russian Talk Show Following Nina Dobrev Split

Ian Somerhalder has revealed that he took part in a light-hearted ‘sexual fantasy exercise’ while filming an upcoming episode of a Russian talk show, while his split from Nina Dobrev is presumably still pretty raw.

The Vampire Diaries star had to “mentally undress” an audience member as part of the challenge, which will be broadcast later this week.

Posting a photo to Instagram with the show’s stars, he wrote as the caption: “Just finished Russian Talk show Ivan Urgant!So fun talking The Ivana Chubbuck Technique and doing a sexual fantasy exercise with some unsuspecting audience member.Thank you Irina for letting me mentally undress you TV.The show airs on May 29th in Russia. (sic)”

We reported earlier today that Somerhalder apparently wanted to marry his Vampire Diaries co-star Dobrev, with the pair ultimately splitting because 24-year-old Nina wasn’t ready for such a bit commitment.

It was announced earlier this month that the couple of three years had called time on their romance, with reports claiming that the split was not unexpected. Now a new report claims that it was Nina’s reluctance to walk down the aisle that forced the couple to reevaluate their relationship.

It’s been claimed that while Ian, 34, was ready to settle down, his girlfriend didn’t feel comfortable with committing fully. “Ian was starting to talk marriage while Nina’s just getting started on her career,” an insider has told In Touch Weekly magazine.

“Nina still loves him but isn’t ready to make that huge commitment. She’s just too young for Ian.”
