Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted that she finds sexy film roles embarrassing and is never too fond of stripping off on screen. Paltrow stars opposite Mark Ruffalo in new film ‘Thanks for Sharing’ in which she had to film a scene clad in skimpy lingerie and she says she found it ”very embarrassing” during filming. She commented:

”Doing the lingerie striptease, I’m not sure exactly how you would classify that, but it was very embarrassing.”

She admits that the situation was uncomfortable for her because it was so unlike anything she’d ever done before, so she found it a challenge. Paltrow comments that she just decided to give it her best shot and in the end it worked out fine:

”I was not comfortable at all, but, you know, it was a good challenge for me to put myself in a situation that I would never be in in my own life. I’m not an exhibitionist like that. And it was a challenge. I’m this other woman and I’m really going to go for it. And it was fine.”

Gwyneth added that she was lucky to have a nice co-star to help her though the experience and put her at ease:

‘Mark is so lovely. He made it very easy.”
