‘Flaws Are OK’: Lorde Disappointed In Photoshopped Photos From Chile’s Lollapalooza Festival

Lorde is aware she has a lot of impressionable young fans which is why the ‘Royals’ singer has encouraged her supporters to embrace their “flaws” while highlighting two images from her recent concert in Chile which have been Photoshopped.

The 17-year-old singer hit the stage at Chile’s Lollapalooza festival in Santiago on Sunday but she was surprised to find that some of the photos which had emerged from the performance had been altered to hide the fact that she has acne.

Far from impressed by the enhanced images, Lorde took to her Twitter account to upload before and after shots which show the Kiwi singer sporting a full face of flawless make-up which had clearly been professionally edited.

“I find this curious – two photos from today, one edited so my skin is perfect and one real. remember flaws are ok :-),” Lorde tweeted alongside the before and after photos earlier today.

It comes just weeks after Lorde proudly showed off her nighttime regime on Instagram with a selfie, showing the Grammy-winner with her hair messily tied up into a bun and cream covering her spots.

“In bed in Paris with my acne cream on,” Lorde tweeted.

Lorde wasn’t about to let the photoshop mishap ruin her mood though as she revelled in the fan appreciation of her hour-long set.

“Chile crowds rule, I love you dancey singy people,” Lorde tweeted shortly after.

“Still buzzing. Had the most fun today. If this is what performing in South America is like I never want to go home!”
