Jerry Jones owns the Dallas Cowboys, a football team that has a player by the name of Greg Hardy. Hardy was suspended for an incident with his ex-girlfriend, in which he allegedly assaulted her. He wasn’t allowed to play for four games. Now there are photos are of Hardy’s ex-girlfriend that all can see, including Jerry Jones. Check them out here and you will see with your own eyes what Hart – the guy Jones is supporting – allegedly did to his ex-girlfriend. Her name is Nicole Holder. Why is Jerry Jones allowing Hardy to play for his team? This is what Jones says,
“While we did not have access to the photos that became public today, we were and are aware of the serious nature of this incident. We as an organization take very this seriously. We do not condone domestic violence. We entered into the agreement with Greg fully understanding that there would be scrutiny and criticism. We have given Greg a second chance. He is a member of our team and someone who is grateful for the opportunity he has been given to move forward with his life and his career.”
Does anyone believe this nonsense? Are we supposed to believe that Jones really takes domestic violence seriously? Does anyone believe for one second that if Hardy beat up Jones’ daughter that Jones would be giving Hardy a second chance? Jones may not condone domestic violence when it happens to someone he loves. But it’s difficult for me to believe that he doesn’t condone domestic violence when his beloved Cowboys are involved. For God’s sake Mr. Jones, don’t let Hardy play. Winning isn’t everything, and we can see from the last six games the Cowboys won’t win with or without Hardy playing.
