Daniel Radcliffe is desperate to leave his Harry Potter days behind and try something new, now the actor has revealed that he would definitely star in a remake in ‘Back To The Future’.

The 22-year-old really fancies himself taking on the role of Marty McFly in a new version of the classic 80s film.

In an interview with The Sun, Daniel said: “If there were a ‘Back to the Future’ remake I would be in it. I fancy myself as a Michael J. Fox – sort of short and quite hyperactive. That sounds like me.”

While there is no ‘Back To The Future’ remake in the pipeline, no doubt Daniel’s name attached to a project like this has got some studio bosses thinking – mainly about the pound signs.

Starring in Harry Potter from a very young age has made Daniel conscious of youngsters on set. The actor admitted that he takes on a protective role, and more recently when filming his latest film ‘The Woman In Black’.

“I’m always very protective of kids when they come onto film sets obviously because of my background,” he explained.

“I had an amazing time on those first films – I had such a great experience and I always sort of feel some sort of obligation to make sure that they have a good time as well. And my real-life godson plays my son in the film, so there is an actual chemistry there and he’s known me all his life and he’s incredibly sweet, and actually really good in the film as well.”
