’50 Shades of Grey’ is currently in the process of filming with stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. The producer of the film, Michael De Luca, has opened up on the two co-stars, commenting that the two have amazing chemistry both on and off set. He adds that they are enjoying the story and he says they definitely have the spark required to make it work:

”The chemistry is there, they genuinely like each other. They’re enjoying the story, the story is so powerful.”

He also reveals that filming is progressing and is roughly halfway completed:

”I think we are a little more than halfway through but it’s going really good. I’m excited!”

Author of the book  E.L. James has recently also spoken about the upcoming film adaption, commenting that she is terrified about how it will work out. She admits she has already been overwhelmed by the book’s huge success and now she is just hoping the film will also please the audience. She said:

‘I’m terrified. Completely. I’ve been terrified from the moment I published the book. My mother was terrified of everything, and so am I. It’s a terrible way to grow up. You don’t expect this kind of success. Even now it floors me. My only ambition for the books was to see them in bookstores. This is huge. And there is this passionate fandom; we need to get this right for them.”
