Cody Simpson thinks life without Gigi Hadid is ‘pretty sweet’

She might be one of the hottest babes that ever lived, but apparently Cody Simpson is so over his former flame Gigi Hadid and is actually loving the single life. Really, Cody?

The Aussie crooner certainly isn’t moping around following his split from the supermodel. When a photographer caught up with the star during a night out with his pals in Los Angeles on Wednesday night he asked Simpson how he was coping without his former flame, and he reckons he’s just peachy!

“It’s pretty sweet,” Simpson told the paparazzo when he asked about his new freedom. Asked whether he loved the “variety” of flying solo, he replied, “It’s everything you think it is.”

Later that night the 18-year-old was seen leaving Warwick nightclub with a mystery brunette.

But it looks like Cody isn’t the only one enjoying his single status. Gigi was pictured partying on the yachts of countless rich guys whilst living it up in Cannes earlier this week with pals Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin and sister Bella Hadid.

The beauty was also linked to Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton after posting a snap of her and her pals hanging out with the Brit in Monaco. “We love you @lewishamilton. Everyone knows you da champ. #teamLH,” she captioned the photo.

Just hours before, the model posted a selfie of herself and pal Kendall hanging out in Lewis’ box. “Crew Love GO HAM @lewishamilton,” she captioned the pic.

But the fun times have followed Gigi back across the Atlantic as the blonde was seen making her way into pal Taylor Swift’s NYC home for a get-together on Thursday night with pal Karlie Kloss.

Gigi and Cody confirmed earlier this month in a statement to gossip site E! News that they had split for a second time and once again blamed their busy schedules for the end of the romance.

The statement also claimed that the split left no ‘hard feelings’ and that the two are committed to remaining friends.

“Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career,” the rep said at the time.

“They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future,” the statement added.
