Chimp Attack Victim Charla Nash Will Appear On Oprah

Charla Nash, who was attacked by her friend’s 200-pound pet chimpanzee earlier this year, will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show this Wednesday, November 11, 2009.

On the show 55-year-old Nash, who lost her hands, nose, lips and sight in February after Travis the chimp attacked her when she came to help the chimps owner Sandra Herold get him back into the house, will discuss how she’s adjusting, how she maintains her spirit, and what the future holds.

Nash, who is adjusting to primitive prosthetics, is suing the state of Connecticut for $150 million in relation to the mauling.
