Camera-Shy? Lamar Odom Hides Face In Rare Sighting Following Khloe Kardashian Divorce Announcement

It looks as though Lamar Odom is already trying to get used to life out of the spotlight in the midst of his divorce from estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, with the basketball star spotted trying to conceal his face from the paparazzi while going for a jog last week.

The usually chirpy 34-year-old was enjoying a good hike at Runyon Canyon in Hollywood last Friday before he was spotted by the paps and it’s clear he was in no mood for conversation as he quickly covered his head with a towel while trying to avoid the eager photographers. At one point, the former Lakers star had to stop and take off his shoe before tying the laces again but he still kept the towel on his head.

Lamar has rarely been seen in public since it was revealed last month that his wife Khloe, 29, had filed divorce papers to end their four-year marriage, citing irreconcilable differences following several months of mounting allegations of drug abuse and cheating on Lamar’s part.

Radar Online claimed last week that Lamar is worried about how he will be portrayed in the fall-out of the divorce from Khloe in the brand new series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians which airs in the US from January 19.

A source told the publication: “The last thing Lamar needs in his life is to be portrayed as a schmuck. Khloe has assured him that it won’t be bad, but how can it not be? The end of the marriage is going to be Khloe’s main storyline next season and Lamar is afraid that his drug use and cheating will be addressed on the show.

Lamar doesn’t look too happy to be caught off-guard by the paps (FameFlynet UK)

“At the same time, he is trying to make a career comeback and he thinks this is going to hinder and hurt those efforts. He feels he’s going to be used to get ratings for the Kardashians.”

A rep for Lamar has been approached for comment, whilst Khloe’s rep had “no comment” to make.
