Calvin Harris Slams Taylor Swift After Song Release
Swift helped pen the song but decided to use a pseudonym in the credits – initially. Then, for some reason she appeared to change her mind about remaining anonymous and a representative released that it is actually Swift on the new track. Now, her ex Calvin Harris has called her out for her behaviour and he’s not happy because he thinks he’s the one who looks bad. He tweeted:
“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym. Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.”
Calvin then went to a more personal place and tweeted about Taylor’s new relationship with Tom Hiddleston. He gets pretty scathing with his response to her recent actions:
“I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do. I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it. Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one”.
Meanwhile, Tom has only just confirmed that he is dating Taylor and that the whole relationship isn’t a stunt:
“The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking. That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”
