Bruce Willis is Bored of Action Films, Says Explosions Make Him Yawn

No one likes a complainer, but a millionaire complainer who has a problem with doing cool things on the repeat is just a whining baby. That’s how we can now categorize Bruce Willis since he’s just complained about making action films and says going through the adrenaline rush motions makes him yawn and want to go to sleep. In fact, he’s been sounding a lot like he hates his job lately, and perhaps it’s just time John McClane went in to retirement for good. Speaking on his boredom, Bruce said:

”Explosions are one of the most boring parts of my job.  When you have seen a few fireballs, it’s not exciting anymore. I know part of my audience enjoys the explosions, but to be honest, I’m a bit bored of it now. I am very clear with who I am. I work in all sorts of films, but the action movies are the ones that generate the most revenue. I like to earn lots of money from those, but I do all types: small productions, mega-projects, medium sized, even science fiction.”

Bruce says that his work would be more difficult if he was parted from his family, since he recently welcomed a little girl named Mabel. The ‘Die Hard’ star comments that he would be awful to work with if his family weren’t around because he needs to see his daughter daily:

”I’m fortunate that I get to bring my family with me when I travel. It would be impossibly unbearable for anyone I’m working with if I didn’t have my family with me. I’d just be moaning about that. I have a little baby and I like to hang out with her every day.”
