Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Planning ‘Wedding Party In St Tropez’
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly going to celebrate their wedding, with a boat trip on the couple’s £5 million luxury yacht next month according to a new report. The couple, who have been together for seven years finally became engaged last April but have been coy about when exactly the wedding will take place.
The Moneyball star splashed out on the uber exclusive purchase earlier this year insiders claim and is keen to incorporate it into the couple’s wedding plans.
“Brad is super-excited about his new purchase, and so are their children. He is now working out how he can incorporate a boat trip into their wedding celebrations, and Angelina fully approves,” a source told Grazia magazine.
Ang and Brad are reportedly planning to tie the knot at their mansion in the South of France at the end of May, close to the Cannes Film Festival when a lot of their Hollywood friends will be in the area.
The insider claimed the couple are planning to dock the boat at St Tropez and throw a huge celebration as they mark their nuptials.
According to sources Ang is thrilled with the plans, they said: “She thinks it would be a great idea to spend some of the day on the boat, given their close proximity to the sea, which their children will love.”
Adding: “The pair have always said that their wedding day will be all about the kids.”
Last week Angelina sparked speculation the couple had already tied the knot after being spotted out with a gold wedding band rather than her 16 carat engagement ring.
But according to a source close to the couple the actress removed it out of respect while on a visit to Africa in her capacity as a UN special envoy.
It’s not the only rumour about the couple’s wedding though they’re also said to be interested in tying the knot in the Caribbean. According to Now magazine, following Brad’s proposal last year they have decided to get married in the Caribbean sunshine and have already whopped down a huge deposit for the £1.5 million wedding.
The magazine, which claims Brad picked up the couple’s wedding licence last month, which means that they’ve got to get married within 90 days.
“Brad and Ange are renting a Caribbean resort for £500,000 a night and will have complete privacy,” a source told the magazine. But while they’ve stumped up the cash for the three-night wedding bash, they will only have a handful of guests.
“It’s a tiny area for 120 guests. It’s intimate, elegant and known for discreet weddings overlooking the ocean,” the insider said. “So far they’ve paid a deposit and are likely to keep the details under wraps ’til the last minute.”
