Big Brother’s Nikki Grahame Confesses She Was ‘Sectioned After Suicide Attempt’

Former Big Brother star Nikki Grahame has spoken out about her battle with depression and anorexia in a new interview, admitting that she had to be sectioned by her father after overdosing on pills last year.

In an interview with Closer magazine, Nikki has said that she was only eating around 1,200 calories a day when she attempted to commit suicide, before her father had to take drastic action in April last year.

Although the reality TV star admits that she didn’t want to die, she had reached a “low point” when her mother moved to Dorset and she thought: “I could literally just hang myself.”

The 31 year old tells the magazine: “I took some sleeping tablets and kind of slept for about three days. Everyone was ringing me and, in the end, an ambulance was called and my door got knocked down.”

“Throughout the years I managed to avoid being sectioned, but this time it was taken out of my hands.”

The blonde was rushed to hospital, before later being sectioned by her father David. She then adds that the treatment has since helped change her lifestyle: “I think I’m about 6 and a half stone… I feel much more calm,” she said.

Nikki is now on anti-depressants and has thanked being sectioned for “helping her turn her life around.”

We’re glad she’s healthy again!
