Beyonce Surprised Nicki Minaj With a Diamond Necklace at MTV VMAs

Beyonce decided to thank Nicki for featuring on a remix of her song ‘Flawless’ by surprising her with an amazing diamond necklace while the two were preparing for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Nicki took to her Instagram account to share a snap of her new jewellery piece and commented on the big surprise:

“If Beyonce didn’t walk into your dressing room and give you a diamond ‘Flawless’ necklace, then there’s no way you could be having a better week than me. Thank u Queen. ur (sic) just a precious gem. I could never thank you enough for your influence on powerful women all around the world.”

During the awards show, Nicki was left clutching the top of her dress after a wardrobe malfunction during her performance. She was grateful that she didn’t end up flashing viewers:

“God is good. As long as a nipple didn’t come out to play, I’m fine.”

She also took the time to thank those who’ve supported her recently:

“Many more to name but they’re all winners! No weak links. There’s no greater feeling than having people who inspire you and who work passionately and relentlessly to get the job done.”
