Blue Ivy Carter’s grand unveiling to the world was a huge top secret and it was the only way that Beyonce and Jay-Z imagined sharing the first images of their daughter.

The couple released five incredibly personal pictures of Blue Ivy Carter on Friday, which was the first time (aside from her appearance on Jay-Z’s track ‘Glory’) that the newborn had said hello to the world.

At New York Fashion Week, Beyonce’s stylist June Ambrose revealed that it was the only way that Beyonce could think of and the ‘Single Ladies’ star was against selling any pictures.

“I couldn’t say a word,” she told Us Weekly at the Mara Hoffman fashion show at NYC’s Lincoln Centre on Saturday. “Bey really, really thought about this and she really wanted to do it this way.”

The celeb stylist continued: “She just couldn’t imagine selling pictures of her baby. It just felt really good to see her do it under her terms. It doesn’t surprise me.”

Ambrose describes baby Blue as “a princess”, as she said: “She’s definitely very alert, you can see from the photos, you feel like she’s been here before…she’s always in a loving environment, and you can see that she’s born into greatness. I think that’s what those photos really say. She’s a good baby!”

Has Blue Ivy’s career been prophesied? Well, we think so as Ambrose said: “A girl with big full lips, she’ll be a supermodel, I can’t wait! And her eyes — she’s gorgeous!”
