Rihanna’s Dublin fans were nearly left disappointed after the singer was close to cancelling a show after a meltdown just a few hours before she was meant to be on stage and Beyonce convinced her to pull herself together.

After feeling blue, Rihanna was close to cancelling the show in Dublin on Friday (November 25) but according to The Sun, the 23-year-old called Beyonce, who persuaded the star to get on stage.

Rihanna continued with the show, and after the concert she wrote: “I’m so light-headed!”

It was only earlier this month that Rihanna was forced to cancel a show in Sweden after she was left hooked up to an IV drip following a serious bout of the flu.

RiRi, was advised to calm down her hectic lifestyle before she becomes seriously ill and now, it’s thought that the singer is suffering from exhaustion because of her mammoth 10-month 101-date tour.

“She’s just a young woman who just wants to have fun, but she was feeling pretty low,” a source told The Sun. “It’s a mix of exhaustion and stress. She’s been partying hard to take her mind off things, but there are days when she wakes up and doesn’t even know where she is because of the travelling. It’s no wonder she is feeling down.”

According to the newspaper Beyonce suggested that Rihanna finishes the tour but then takes a year off, like she did in 2009.

The insider said: “She knows Rihanna needs downtime or she’ll burn out.”

This weekend Rihanna’s new album Talk That Talk and her single ‘We Found Love’ topped the UK charts but she remained fairly subdued on Twitter about her accomplishments.

She simply tweeted a fan: “Thanks #UKnavy RT @TakeCareRihanna: @rihanna congrats on TTT coming #1 in UK album charts today :)”
