Australian Mayor Hits Back at Justin Bieber’s Graffiti Vandalism

Justin Bieber landed himself in trouble recently while on stay in Australia. The troubled singer was caught graffiti-ing up a wall near his hotel (duh, stupid move) and was called out for vandalizing public property without permission.

Thankfully, the Australian may0r has had a decent sense of humor about the whole issue, although he’s warned Bieber that any normal person would be facing community service. He commented that Bieber is welcome to return to the wall and clean up what he did (we’d all like to laugh about that). The mayor has also invited the singer to make it up the city by singing at a Christmas carol service in the city for just one hour:

“If a normal person did that they’d be serving 80 to 100 hours of community service. Just come and clean it up and we’ll be happy with you. Alternatively come and sing at our mayoral Christmas carols on the seventh of December for an hour and I’ll let you go.”

Bieber has no tour date booked on the 7th of December but has yet to respond to the mayor’s invitation. The mayor also commented that he isn’t happy with the singer for glorifying graffiti as he has done:

“The last thing we want is to have graffiti glorified and more young people thinking its a cool thing to do.”
