Ariana Grande Covers Up In New York With Boyfriend Nathan Sykes Following Raunchy AMAs Appearance

It has been a while since Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder decided to call it quits on their relationship but last night, the Vampire Diaries couple reunited.

However, it was far from romantic as the former couple got together to celebrate the filming of the 100th episode of the hit Vampire series, with the rest of the cast and crew.

Whilst the male members of the cast and crew decided to go for the classic suit and tie combo for the prestigious event, the ladies of the show – including Kat Graham decided to show off their amazing figures in stunning dresses.

And whist Kat went for a bronze coloured dress and Candice Accola opted for an LBD, Nina brought a pop of colour to the red carpet in a short multicoloured dress.

As the gang huddled together for a cast and crew photo, Nina could be seen posing alongside Ian and whilst she stood slightly in front of him, he placed his hand on her shoulder.

Ever since Nina and Ian split, the pair have stayed friends with each other. In fact Nina who plays Elena on the hit show, recently congratulated her on screen love interest Damon for his nomination for a People’s Choice Award.

Having heard that Ian had been nominated, Nina took to her Twitter account to reveal her pride at the actor getting nominated for the award. The actress, who has recently been linked to Dancing With The Stars’ Derek Hough, tweeted:

“And a congrats shout out to @iansomerhalder for his nomination in the Best SciFi Actor category! Way to represent the male Vampires!Kill it!”

Minutes after, Nina then tweeted: “(Pun totally intended)”

And whilst they may no longer be romantically linked, that doesn’t mean Nina and Ian can no longer have chemistry with each other as the pair have been nominated for the Favourite On Screen Chemistry award for their roles on the show.

However, that’s not the only award that the pair have been nominated for as the CW network show has been nominated in the Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show category.
