Anorexic Model Isabelle Caro Dead At Age 28
French anorexic model Isabelle Caro has died at the age of 28.
According to reports her acting coach, Daniele Dubreuil-Prevot, revealed Caro died on November 17 after just returning to France after doing a job in Tokyo.
Caro had said she began suffering from anorexia when she was 13. She revealed she weighed about 59 pounds in 2007 when she posed naked for an anorexia awareness campaign billboard shot by Italian photographer Oliviero Toscani titled “No Anorexia.”
Besides modeling Caro wrote a book published in 2008 in France titled The Little Girl Who Didn’t Want to Get Fat, she was a member of the jury on Top Model France, and worked periodically as a film and television actress. She was also interviewed by Jessica Simpson for her show The Price of Beauty on VH1.
