And The Most Popular Karaoke Song Of 2014 Was…

The most popular songs at karaoke bars across the country have been revealed – and we’re just happy we were never around to hear them being slaughtered.

‘Let It Go’ from Disney’s Frozen was inescapable on public transport, on TV and in the presence of any child throughout 2014, and it seems it was also ubiquitous in the world of karaoke. In the survey, conducted by Lucky Voice, it soars in at No1 as the most-covered track of the year.

Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ polled second place, while Adele appears twice in the Top 10 and, perhaps due to her set at Glastonbury over the summer, Dolly Parton sneaks on to the list with enduring fave ‘Jolene’. Old-school classics by Journey, John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John and Bon Jovi are also still feeling the love.
