American Idol 2013: Adam Lambert Returns To The Stage As Candice Glover Is Crowned The Winner

Former American Idol winner Adam Lambert returned to the infamous stage on Thursday evening to perform at the grand finale, where he duetted with finalist Angie Miller.

Adam took to Twitter to praise the talented finalist, saying that the singer is a star in the making, despite losing out to Candice Glover in the end.

The What Do You Want From Me star tweeted: “What a gorgeous night!! @AngieAI12 is a STAR. she is ready. She’s fully realized talent who is about to do great things!!!,” following the pair’s performance of David Guetta and Sia’s ‘Titanium’ at LA’s Nokia Theatre.

Meanwhile, EntertainmentWise caught up with Candice after she was crowned the American Idol 2013 winner last week, where she told us that she was keen to model her showbiz career on judges’ Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.

When asked if she saw herself bigger than judges Mariah and Nicki, Candice said: “Do I see myself doing that? Well I would definitely model my career after them but I don’t know because it would be a pretty hard act to follow because Mariah and Nicki are great in their own genres so I don’t know, I would have to hope for the best and hope I can do as well as them.”

But, when it comes to diva behaviour, the singer doesn’t come close to Mariah or Nicki’s eccentric ways!

The winner admitted when we asked her what she’ll be splashing her cash on: “Well I got my car so I would just pay off all my bills. I still haven’t had a chance to think but I have some bills that need to be paid.”
