Adele Working On James Bond ‘Skyfall’ Theme Tune?

Adele is set to join the likes of Garbage, Tina Turner and Jack White as she reportedly is the front runner to write the theme song for the upcoming new James Bond movie ‘Skyfall’.

The ‘Someone Like You’ singer is the director’s top choice to land the acclaimed feat according to Forbes.com

An insider source told the website: “Adele and her writers are working on a song. We’ll see how it turns out.”

Rumours that Adele would pen the James Bond theme tune began circulating in early 2011, with Voice judge Tom Jones praising the singer for the potential role.

Sir Tom Jones, who claimed his track for the Thunderball movie, said the move had a huge impact on his career.

The first trailer for the new James Bond film ‘Skyfall’ has premiered online. It marks Daniel Craig’s third appearance as 007, four years after ‘Quantum of Solace’.

The new movie, which stars Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris will be opening in cinemas and IMAX screens on October 26 in the UK and November 9 in the US.

‘Skyfall’ will mark the 50th anniversary of the 007 series after Sean Connery first started it in 1962 in ‘Dr No’.

James Bond Through The Years…

Daniel Craig has had nothing but grief from hard core Bond fans since taking on the role. However, his co-star Caterina Murino said of him recently “Hes very hot and when he kissed me it was incredibly sexy. It was fantastic!” Lucky her…hopefully Craig can silence his critics with his performance in Casino Royale.
