Adele Is Full Of Praise For Her Madame Tussauds Waxwork: ‘They’ve Even Got My Chin Right!’

Adele has been singing the praises of her uncanny waxwork, which was unveiled at London’s famous Madame Tussauds today.

The Someone Like You singer wasn’t present for the launch at the tourist hotspot but according to The Mirror, she’s delighted with her doppleganger, quipping: “They’ve even got my chin right.”

Adele seemed impressed with the waxwork, which is based on her appearance at the 2012 Grammy Awards, reportedly adding “That’s scary! It’s amazing – I feel a bit emotional.”

The star has finally joined the likes of One Direction, Lady Gaga and Rihanna at Madame Tussauds this week, with her likeness donning the stunning Clements Ribeiro dress  for her stomping performance of ‘Someone Like You,’ which marked her return to the stage months after undergoing throat surgery.

Speaking on the new addition to Madame Tussauds’ hall of fame, PR manager Nicole Fenner has said: “Adele is the perfect addition to the music line up here in. She’s one of the world’s hottest properties right now and one of our most requested personalities.

“In fact we’ve seen a huge increase in requests for her figure since ‘Skyfall’ was released and the timing seems perfect to honour her after such phenomenal success with the song.”

Fenner continued: “She is one of the most influential British female artists and we know she is going to be a huge hit with our guests alongside our other pop greats. We’re very excited to welcome her to Madame Tussauds London.”
