She first made a comment about it at the Grammy’s earlier this year, but now global pop sensation Adele has confirmed she’s a married woman.
While performing a concert in Brisbane, Australia, as she was about to sing Someone Like You, she told the crowd:
“I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record, because as bad as a break up can be, as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth and I am addicted to that feeling. Obviously I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now. I’ve found my next person.”
It is thought that the pair met sometime around 2011, when, after years in a senior management role with Lehman Brothers, Konecki began focusing his attention on improving life for those less-well off than himself and other like him in (let’s be honest, often ridiculously) high-paid jobs. To do this, he set up Drop4Drop, a charity organisation which works tirelessly to provide everyone around the world with clean water, and Adele herself has supported the cause via her Twitter:

Adele, whose full name is Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, has a four-year-old son, Angelo, with Konecki, although she tends to keep them both well out of the spotlight. Speaking to 60 Minutes Australia, she said of the relationship with her now-husband:
“Being in such an amazing relationship with someone that’s so there for me and so loyal and is really part of my core now. That’s what made me write about everything I’ve ever done, because I’ve got his love.”
News that Adele is married has delighted her millions of fans around the world many of whom took to Twitter to pass on their congratulations. Some however, seemed more concerned about the impact the marriage could have on her music, as you can read for yourself below.

Adele has confirmed that she is now married. By doing so, she also confirmed that her next album is going to be completely awful.

Now that #Adele is married, what heartbreaking things can she sing about? Burning the toast? Forgetting to book the hamster into the vets?
