Aaron Paul Wants to Reprise Jesse Pinkman Role for ‘Better Call Saul’

20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - Press Room

We all miss hit tv show Breaking Bad and wish it would be resurrected for at least another season, but fans may be about to get the next best thing. The show’s creator has already announced plans for a spin-off show called ‘Better Call Saul’ which will focus mostly on shady lawyer Saul Goodman, but Aaron Paul’s character Jesse Pinkman may also be getting a look in. The show is a prequel to ‘Breaking Bad’ so we’d see Pinkman in his early ‘Cap’n Cook’ days. The actor commented that he’d love to make an appearance:

“Anything Vince is involved with, I’m there. I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days – because it’s all a prequel – it would be fun.”

Dean Norris, who played drug enforcement agent Hank Schrader has already commented that he won’t appear in the new show because he doesn’t want to revisit the role:

“I think that experience was that experience. I’m not a big fan of kind of revisiting something that has already been done. But I think it’s going to be awesome. So I can’t wait to see it.”

The new show is set to arrive in November this year.
