X Factor USA Ones To Watch: Alex And Sierra, Rion Paige, Restless Road, Wild Thingz, More (VIDEO)

Last week saw the X Factor USA bootcamp stage come to an end and despite the final places being filled with talented hopefuls, here at EntertainmentWise, we have our favourites! Check out our top 5 below, and watch the vid above.

1. Josh Levi

Josh wowed the judges and everybody at home with his energetic take on Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me and with judge Kelly Rowland describing the contestant as a “superstar” – could Josh make it all the way to the final and maybe even win the competition?

2. Rion Paige

Rion received a rapturous round of applause when she finished singing her rendition of Rascal Flatts’ I Won’t Let Go. Praising Rion on her voice, Kelly told the young rising star: “Rion, I love your voice. I love how happy and excited you are when you sing. I just love watching you.”

Equally impressed was Simon Cowell who added: “Well, Rion, when you’ve got it, you got it, right? And I really, really like your voice. And I think we’re scratching the surface here.”

As the camera panned to Demi, Paige didn’t have to worry about whether or not she had done enough to get through as Demi commented: “You’re only 13 and you have such a mature voice coming out of you. And you know, when I look at you, I don’t see anything different.

“Rion, you are an incredibly special girl. I can’t let you go.”

Seems like she has a fair amount of fans already!

3. Restless Road

Restless Road were put together by Simon Cowell to be a country “man band” and they certainly impressed, with the trio getting a standing ovation when they performed for the first time last week, singing Somebody Like You.

Paulina Rubio told them, “I completely love you three.”

She went on, “You’re so different between each other. Your different vocals blend so well. You guys are amazing.”

4. Alex and Sierra

Having appeared on stage, the two lovebirds performed their own version of Grease’s You’re The One That I Want and during their performance, decided to have a kiss. However, the kiss didn’t appear to hinder their chances as Kelly was quick to gush: “I genuinely adore you two. I love listening to you sing together, and I like a bit of the sexiness you guys have, too.”

Agreeing with Kelly, Simon was seen telling the talented couple: “These two I can’t see ever splitting up. You’ll always be Alex and Sierra. I really, really like you. There’s no one in the market like you. I like the fact that you put your own twists on these songs.

“People are really gonna fall in love with you. I can think of nothing better than working with you two in this competition.”

5. Wild Thingz

Active duo Wild Thingz may be the US answer to Jedward, but their energetic performance of LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem still bagged them a place in the live finals.

Having been praised by Kelly Rowland, Simon cast his critical eye over the duo and told them: “It’s not music it’s unintentional comedy”.

However, despite the negative comment, the media mogul who is soon to be a parent with Lauren Silverman, added: “If I had a three-year-old, which I will soon will, then he or she would probably quite like you”, and with that Wild Things were given a place in Simon’s category as he said: “I don’t even know which one is the most annoying…but you can stay.”
