What About Beyonce? Jay Z Admits Daughter Blue Ivy’s His ‘Biggest Fan’ With superstar parents like Beyonce and Jay Z, it would be surprising if their daughter Blue Ivy didn’t grow up to have great musical tastes and according to her rapper father, the tot is well advanced beyond her early years as she’s apparently a huge fan of his latest album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail.’Jay Z has sat down with Vanity Fair magazine for a candid interview in which he details what life was like as a teenage drug dealer in Brooklyn, branching out of hip-hop to become a business mogul and of course, his family life with Beyonce and daughter Blue Ivy.Daddy’s girl? Jay Z claims Blue Ivy has great taste in music (WENN)The one-year-old has spent the last year travelling the world with her mother Beyonce on the singer’s ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ world tour where she has performed hits from her back catalogue including ‘Single Ladies,’ ‘Run The World (Girls),’ ‘Halo’ and ‘Love On Top.’While Beyonce may be believe that Blue isn’t such a huge fan of Beyonce’s music, Jay Z says otherwise and insists the tot has a penchant for both of their catalogues.“That’s not true. She does like her mother’s music – she watches [Beyoncé’s concerts] on the computer every night,” Jay Z told the publication.“But my album came out and I don’t know if Blue ever heard any of my music prior to this album – she’s only 18 months old and I don’t play my music around the house. But this album was new, so we played it. And she loves all the songs. She plays a song and she goes, ‘More, Daddy, more . . . Daddy song.’”He continued: “She plays a song and she goes, ‘More, Daddy, more . . . Daddy song.’ She’s my biggest fan. If no one bought the Magna Carta [album], the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy.“And that’s not like a cliché. I’m really serious. Just to see her—‘Daddy song, more, Daddy.’ She’s genuine, she’s honest, because she doesn’t know it makes me happy. She just wants to hear it.”Beyonce apparently worries Blue Ivy prefers Jay Z’s record to her music (WENN)The 43-year-old rapper also went on to finally reveal the truth about the couple attempting to trademark Blue’s name not long after she was born in January 2011 and hit back at the claims power had gotten to their heads and they merely tried to prevent companies from profiting on her name.“People wanted to make products based on our child’s name and you don’t want anybody trying to benefit off your baby’s name. It wasn’t for us to do anything; as you see, we haven’t done anything,” Jay told the publication.
