Susan Sarandon And Geena Davis Reunite For Iconic Selfie To Recreate Thelma & Louise 23 Years Later

Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis starred in one of the most iconic films of all time 23 years ago, and the two decided to revisit the movie on Thursday by taking a selfie together.

Susan Sarandon posted the ageless photo on Twitter which shows the two posing exactly like how they did for the promotional photo of Thelma & Louise.

As if the photo itself isn’t enough to make fans feel nostalgic, Susan also included a snap of the original selfie from the pair that was used for the film.

Susan Sarandon is now 67-years-old, while Geena Davis is 58, however, the two still look quite like they did in the original photo.

In an ironic twist, it turns out that the “selfie” was actually invented by them 23 years ago, or that’s what Susan claims anyway.

“Inventors of the #selfie at it again. #ThelmaAndLouise,” Susan Sarandon pointed out along with the picture.

Thelma & Louise was released in 1991 and went on to receive several Academy Award nominations, one of which included Best Original Screenplay, which they won.
