Niall Horan Explains One Direction ‘Take Me Home’ Album Title

Niall Horan has explained the inspiration behind One Direction’s new album title Take Me Home.

The Irish hitmaker, who stars in the band alongside Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles, said that the boys came up with the name together.

Speaking on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show, he said: “We thought about it for a while. Because we all would do a lot of travelling around the world and we get to see a lot of cool places, but the main thing is there’s no place like home. It’s always kind of nice to go home.”

He went on to say that the group have taken an ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ approach, saying Take Me Home is “not too different” from debut effort Up All Night.

“We’re obviously nervous,” he said. “The second album you never know what you’re going to get from it.

“But we’re really excited about it. It’s really fun, very heavy on guitars and drums, so we’re super excited about it.”

Take Me Home is out on November 12.
