Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom To Start IVF Treatment

Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom are set to start IVF treatment in their effort to have a baby of their own, after older sister Kourtney has announced that she’s expecting her second child.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is getting ready for the in vitro fertilisation treatments so that she can start a family with the LA Lakers star, reports Us Weekly.

“She is desperate for a baby with Lamar and will do whatever it takes,” a source close to the couple told the magazine.“They have faith the IVF will work.”

Since the couple married in September 2009, the couple have been dogged by reports about their struggle to get pregnant.

It got the 28-year-old Kardashian sister so worried that she consulted a doctor, but was given the all-clear. Khloe and Lamar will be forking out $10,000 to $15,000 per treatment but are positive about the results.

The reality star revealed that she was “overjoyed” at Kourtney’s pregnancy news but she is still “hard” for her as she’s so keen to have a child.

An insider told Us: “She’s thrilled for Kourtney, but she’s really sensitive. And it’s hard to see your sister get something you want so badly.”

Earlier this year, Khloe talked about the media spotlight on her expected pregnancy, as she said: “For two years, people have been wanting me to get pregnant. People keep saying, ‘Why aren’t you pregnant yet?’ That’s what scares me, when people are like, ‘Did you go to the doctor? Do you know if everything is working?’

“It’s nerve-wracking. Sometimes I feel like I’m letting everyone down.”
