Justin Bieber Breaks Record As Most Charitable Celebrity After Meeting Sick Fan Backstage On Tour

Justin Bieber may receive negative press but the pop star clearly isn’t all bad after breaking a record as the most charitable celebrity for the Make A Wish Foundation after meeting a sick fan backstage at a recent concert on his ‘Believe’ tour.

The 19-year-old hitmaker has been involved with the foundation for several years, often agreeing to meet those who are disabled or fans suffering from illnesses at his shows and it looks as though his generous gestures have proved fruitful as Justin has become the first musician to fulfil 200 wishes.

Justin’s record-breaking feat occurred on Saturday when the singer met eight-year-old Annalysha Brown-Rafanan, who suffers from a life-threatening liver condition, backstage at his show in Atlanta, Georgia, which was the last night of the North American leg of his mammoth ‘Believe’ tour.

After learning of his achievement, Justin tweeted: “Make-A-Wish (I was) honored (sic) yesterday. One of the best moments I’ve ever had. Thank u (sic). Looking forward to doing more together. Thank.”

David Williams, president of Make A Wish America, said in a statement: “Despite his relentless schedule, Justin has been genuinely committed to granting wishes since the very beginning and a strong supporter of Make-A-Wish. Justin understands the impact on a child of a wish-come-true and how it can create positive changes in their outlook, help them feel better, and even influence their health.”

Good work Biebs!
