Lindsay Lohan, better known these days for her rehab spells, partying ways and bad driving then her starring role in the ‘Parent Trap’, has been quit on by her publicist.
After Steve Honig began his role as publicist for Lindsay Lohan in May 2011, he’s had to deal with more court dates, 911 calls and hit and runs that most publicist have in their career.
Honig told ABCNews.com: “I have resigned as her publicist”.
He later refused to comment on the reason why. Mr. Honig was the first publicist to work with Lindsay after she parted ways with her previous spokesperson, Leslie Sloane, in 2010.
His most recent debate was defending rumours her management was working alongside her estranged father to a seek a conservatorship to help her to stop abusing alcohol and drugs, just like Britney Spears father did in 2007.
Trouble in recent months has included Lindsay being questioned over a car accident, a foiled attempt at an rehab intervention by her father and accusations of her mother taking cocaine.
Her father Michael Lohan claims his daughter is hanging out with the wrong people, including her own mother, Dina.
