There may be reports doing the rounds that Dylan Penn and Robert Pattinson are an item but it appears that Dylan isn’t the only one who admires the Twilight Saga actor as one fan has had the British actor’s face tattooed on her body.
In a new Channel 4 documentary, viewers will see 52 year-old Cathy Ward explain her reasons for covering her body in tattoos of the actor and his Twilight Saga co-stars including Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
The show will see Cathy showing off her back tattoo which is a copy of the poster released for New Moon. Explaining how long it took, the Mail Online quotes her as saying: “I’ve had about 91 hours of tattooing now and it’s costing a small fortune.
“I’ve forked out just under £8,500 and by the time I’m finished, when [my] body’s completely covered, we’re looking at between £17,000 and £25,000.”
Going on to describe her other tattoos which cover her arms, Cathy says: “We’ve got the book covers, we’ve got the ribbon, we’ve got the family crest, we’ve got the hairpiece, we’ve got the chessboard from Breaking Dawn, we’ve got the wolf tribal symbol.
“I’ve had five wolves done and one of the last things Jacob says to [Bella] when he realises he’s lost her. He said: ‘It would be as easy as breathing with me’.”
Despite having Kristen and Taylor’s faces etched on her skin forever, Cathy is adamant that she will always be Team Edward.
“Obviously, I’m Team Edward so most of my tattoos are of Edward,” she explains. “I’m definitely a Robert Pattinson fan.”
“It’s because he’s not classically good looking – he’s different,” he said. “I’m not what I’d call good looking, I’m average and he’s similar. Plenty of other guys in the film are better looking but he’s striking in different way.”
My Tattoo Addiction airs on Channel 4 at 10pm on Thursday October 3.
