Bradley Cooper could be the man to save The Justice League movie, according to sources close to the production.
The Silver Linings Playbook star is the hottest property in Hollywood at the moment, and it seems that the troubled superhero team-up movie could call on Brad to take up the role of The Flash to capitalise on his popularity.
The film was mooted as the place for the DC Comics superheroes to go after the success of Marvel’s The Avengers, but the production has been hampered by numerous difficulties.
Firstly the DC heroes have gone on a darker path than the Marvel ones with Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, and the upcoming Superman reboot Man of Steel, which doesn’t exactly lend itself to family friendly fighting teams.
Secondly Nolan’s Batman only just finished, and so starting again with a new Batman (who really has to be in Justice League) will be difficult for cinemagoers who’ve only just finished the previous trilogy.
“They’re scared, they are starting to doubt the whole project. Man of Steel is looking to be a hit but they still have doubts about Justice League. That’s why they’re trying to bring in some big names to make sure this thing gets off the ground,” a source told WeGotThisCovered.com
“I heard that they’ve been talking to Bradley again for the role of The Flash. They want some big talent to headline this thing because right now the film is in trouble,” the source added.
Apparently the answer could be Brad, with his charms set to be added to a cast already rumoured to be set to include Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Superman star Henry Cavill.
