50 Cent Calls For Floyd Mayweather To Read Harry Potter In Special ASL-ELS Challenge
50 Cent has really turned this whole ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on its head (rather than on his own like everyone else) by opting to sod his off entirely, instead setting a bizarre request to Floyd Mayweather.
While just about everyone from David Beckham to Justin BIeber have been doused with freezing water, the rapper has used a bit of creative flare, calling the boxer out to take a special “ELS challenge”.
Chucking his own bucket off his super plush balcony, Fiddy turned to the camera in protest. “F**k the bucket of ice,’ he declared. “This is a special ASL-ELS challenge for you, Floyd”.
So what would it be instead? Maybe a bucket full off rotten fish? Or did he take out of Verne Troyer’s book and challenge him to down himself in a bucket of milk? No scrap the buckets, the ‘Candy Shop’ hitmaker really put his money where his mouth is: “If you can read one full page of a Harry Potter book…I’ll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want to.”

In his Instagram vid, the G-Unit star accompanied the clip with the post: “Floyd will you except my ALS/ESL CHALLENGE: I will donate $750k to a charity of your choice, If you can read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or f**king up. lmao.” Ouch!
Floyd recently slammed “irrelevant” hip-hop artists such as 50 Cent and Nelly going on to have a big rant about just how bloomin’ fantastic he is. In an interview with MLive.com, he said: “You know, when people are not relevant, and they’re not moving units like they were once moving … you’ve got to realise, I’ve been relevant for 18 years.

“God has blessed me with an unbelievable talent, with fast feet, fast hands, unbelievable defense and a very, very sharp mind. So I’m thankful for that. Of course, hip-hop artists, they come and go. They come and go. But I’m still here.”

It would actually be easier to list the celebs who haven’t taken part in the ASL challenge but some of our faves so far have included Miley Cyrus pouring a bucket of rice on her head, and Britney Spears who looked so adorable as she joined in on all the fundraising fun.
Standing for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, the ASL challenge has become an enormous phenomenon among our showbiz pals hoping to raise money to battle the illness. So far the ALS Bucket Challenge has raised an astonishing $31.5 million. Good work guys!
