5 Stars Dish on How They Deal With a Break-up
Going through a break-up is never easy – here are how 5 stars got over their lost loves. From spending more time focused on other things which eventually distracted them from their heartache, to simply facing their own fears of loneliness, these 5 celebrities eventually got over the person they lost despite how hard it can be to say goodbye to a relationship, especially one that has gone on for years.
Robert Pattinson
A source revealed that the actor focused on making music and hanging out with his dogs Bear and Bernie while getting over Kristen Stewart: ”Rob’s looking forward to working on his music and just spending some down time with his close friends and Bear and Bernie. It sounds funny, but he is so close to those dogs. He’s been getting so much love and comfort from them during this tough transition without Kristen.”
After splitting from Dave Berry, Heidi took part in reality show ‘Dancing on Ice’ to take her mind off of it: “The end of last year was awful. We’re still great friends and I saw him last week… but it’s hard. Dancing On Ice has got me through it. It’s given me a new lease of life. My life’s been turned upside down and I don’t know what is going to happen. I’m thinking about a solo album, I’m thinking about TV presenting, I’m thinking the world is my oyster right now. For 10 years every part of my life has been planned. It’s been in the diary. It’s exciting to be making a fresh start. This show has been brilliant. It’s given me confidence and I’ve got my groove back.”
Jennifer filmed ‘The Break-Up’ while getting over Brad Pitt and she says it helped her a lot: “It was just a beautiful story about a couple breaking up. And I was slightly familiar on the topic and the issue. And I sort of honestly felt like, what a great way to sort of exercise some of that. I enjoyed it. It really enjoyed it. You would think otherwise, because even the producers were like, ‘I don’t know if we should ask you to do this,’ but I was like, why not? Turn the page, let’s move on.”
Taylor turned to hockey after his split: “I’m not getting married next year, I’ll tell you that much. Hockey’s like therapy for me. I went through a terrible break-up a while ago and it was the one thing that allowed me to actually not think about it for an hour and a half.”
Miley faced her fear of being alone: “I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year.”
