5 Celebrities Who Want Their Own Clothing Lines
Hoping to one day put their own stamp on fashion, these 5 celebrities have all revealed that they’d love to have their very own clothing lines. Some have dabbled in design before and really enjoyed the experience or were surprised by their own creativity. Others are just big fashion fans and would love to bring their own sense of style to an audience that appreciates their personal look. With so many celebrity fashion lines already on the market, these stars say they’d like to join in on the fun and bring their own imaginative designs to their fans one day.
Robert tried fashion design and was surprised by what he created: “I want to get more involved with the industry, I really like it. I like drawing couture dresses. I started doing it and was like ‘What is happening?’ Suddenly I had a sketchbook full of dresses. I like the artistry of it, it’s like costume design. The speed of it means you can just move so much quicker. I like designing clothes.”
Cheryl has previously designed a shoe line and wouldn’t rule out clothing: “Do you know what? I wouldn’t rule it out, actually. I have loved designing these shoes. I haven’t enjoyed a project so much in a long time. So, yes, it might be the start of something.”
Jessie J is a big fashion follower and she would love to try designing: ”I’d love to have a fashion range. I’ve been dressed by the amazing Vivienne Westwood and fashion is something I’m a huge fan of. I’ve never been a follower. The only people I look at for style are Rihanna and Nicki Minaj.”
‘Florence and the Machine’ singer Florence Welch would love to create her own line: “[Having a clothing range] really appeals to me. I would definitely think about it in the future. I’m very particular about what I like though, so I’d really need to spend some time on it.”
Vanessa would love to express her style through themed collections: “When I find the time and the right partner to do a fashion line, I’m definitely going to. I would probably have different seasons dedicated to different styles. I’m one who really mixes it up in my normal life – from the cowgirl to the bohemian to the Indian princess to the rocker to God knows where.”
